How to treat efflorescence / laitance?
Efflorescence / laitance appears as whitish salt stains on concrete. It affects paint adhesion and can cause discoloration.
Solution:
- Remove the salt with a dry brush, wash the surface thoroughly, and let it dry.
- Apply a coat of PERMOGLAZE Plaster Primer to prevent salt migration and strengthen the adhesion of the new layer of paint.
- Recommended finish paint: Permotop.
